COSMETIC ENHANCEMENT · HAWTHORN, MELBOURNE
ABOUT BIO-REMODELLING
Skin that feels dry, or looks dull and uneven in texture, is one of the most common reasons people book a skin consultation in Melbourne. Both improve how skin looks and feels over a course of visits. They sit within our cosmetic enhancement treatments because a registered nurse performs them after a consultation.
The difference is in the goal. Hydration restoration is about how hydrated, smooth and comfortable your skin looks, while bio-remodelling works more gradually on the look of skin quality and firmness. We will help you choose between them at your consultation.
Good skin also starts with what you do every day. We look at your current routine and sun protection as part of every plan, because treatment works best alongside good habits.
HOW WE CAN HELP
Results depend on your skin and what you want to achieve, but these are the concerns we are asked about most often.
Hydration restoration can help skin look and feel more hydrated and comfortable, with improvements that build over a course of visits.
For skin that looks dull or tired, treatment can help your complexion look fresher and more even. Regular visits can then form part of a longer-term maintenance plan.
To support firmer, more resilient-looking skin, this treatment is usually planned as a series of visits. Each visit builds on the last.
Texture concerns such as roughness or enlarged pores sit closer to the surface, where skin treatments that resurface and refine do most of the work. Bio-remodelling then supports overall skin quality as part of the same plan.
The Process
Appointments follow the same steps, with treatment tailored to how your skin looks on the day.
At our Hawthorn skin clinic, we begin by assessing your skin and talking through what you have noticed. Bring the skincare you use now, so we can see the whole picture.
We recommend hydration restoration, bio-remodelling or a different approach, and explain why. Your plan sets out whether one visit or a series suits you, along with the risks and what to expect.
Chantallè performs your treatment herself, working methodically across the area and checking in with you throughout.
Before you leave, we explain how to care for your skin over the next day or two.
Results build across a course of treatments. We review your skin at each visit and adjust your plan as it responds.
YOUR PRACTITIONER
Chantallè is a Cosmetic Nurse and Practice Manager whose 15-plus years in aesthetics take in holistic skin health as well as cosmetic enhancement, so each plan looks at the full picture of your skin.
Her experience also extends to body treatments, and she takes a cautious approach by design. She is honest about expectations, and if a simpler option would serve your skin better, she will recommend it.
Risks to know about: Bio-remodelling and hydration restoration are cosmetic procedures, and like all cosmetic procedures they carry some risk. Short-term redness, swelling, small bumps and tenderness are the most common effects. Less common risks include infection, allergic reaction and uneven results, and rarely, complications can be serious and need further treatment. We explain which of these apply to your skin at your consultation.
