BODY TREATMENTS · HAWTHORN, MELBOURNE
WHAT ARE BODY TREATMENTS
Body treatments work below the neck, on tone, firmness and the texture of the skin itself. Where skin treatments are built around the face, these start from the area you want to work on. Some of it is body contouring, which works on how an area sits. The rest is skin work. Most people come in about one and end up talking about both.
Results build gradually and vary from person to person. These are non-surgical treatments, so most work across a course of sessions rather than a single appointment. We will give you a realistic picture of what to expect before anything is booked.
Before every treatment, we assess the area and confirm the approach is right for you and your goals. If something else would work better for you, we will say so.
THE PROCESS
While every treatment is tailored to the area and to you, each appointment follows a similar structure.
We look at the area you want to work on and talk through what you are hoping to achieve. We will explain what each option can and cannot do, and we only begin treatment once we are confident it is the right approach for you.
We agree on a plan together, including the area being treated, the number of sessions likely to be involved and the cost. We talk through the risks and answer your questions before you consent to anything.
We get you comfortable and clean the treatment area. You stay clothed apart from the area being treated, and we talk you through what is about to happen before it does.
We work across the area section by section. Most appointments take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on how much ground there is to cover.
We check how the area has responded between sessions and adjust from there. Running treatment as a course rather than one appointment means we can change the plan partway if your skin responds differently to what we expected.
HOW THEY HELP
Body treatments can address a range of concerns. The approach will depend on the area being treated, your skin and what you want to achieve. We will talk you through what we see at your consultation.
The areas we treat are the abdomen, flanks, back, buttocks, thighs, knees, upper arms, décolletage and stomach.
Non-invasive body contouring with Exion, worked across the treatment area in a set pattern. Results build over a course of sessions rather than appearing after one, and vary from person to person.
Learn MoreSkin needling for the body rather than the face, most often on the décolletage and stomach. It prompts the skin’s own collagen response to work on texture, firmness and the appearance of scarring. Body skin is thicker than facial skin, so the depth and spacing are set differently.

YOUR PRACTITIONER
“We take the same care with body treatments that we bring to everything at this clinic — because your skin deserves it regardless of where it is.”
Chantallè is a Cosmetic Nurse and Practice Manager with more than 15 years in the aesthetics industry. She works across skin health, cosmetic enhancement and body treatments. The answer to a body concern is often skin work rather than contouring, or the other way round.
Appointments at our Hawthorn clinic are unhurried. You will always have time to ask questions before anything begins, and every recommendation Chantallè makes is grounded in clinical experience, not a product menu.

Risks and what to consider: Every body treatment carries some risk, and no treatment is right for everyone. The most common effects are redness, warmth and tenderness in the treated area, which usually settle within a day or two. Less common effects include swelling, bruising and temporary changes in skin sensitivity. Whether a treatment suits you depends on your health, your skin and the area involved, so we work that out at the consultation rather than on the day. Risks specific to each treatment are set out on the relevant treatment page, and we go through them with you in person before you consent to anything. Contact the clinic straight away if anything concerns you after treatment.
BEFORE AND AFTER
A little preparation makes a real difference to how the area responds and how quickly it settles. These are the things worth knowing.

Most body treatments need a course rather than one appointment, and how many depends on the area and how your body responds. We will give you a realistic range at your consultation.

A consultation is an assessment and a conversation, and it may or may not lead to treatment. There is no pressure to proceed on the day, and you are welcome to take time to think it over.
Cost depends on the area and the number of sessions involved, and pricing is listed on each treatment page. We will confirm an exact figure at your consultation before anything is agreed.
