Body skin treatments in Melbourne

Body skin treatments use needle-free radiofrequency energy to gently warm the skin on the neck, décolletage, hands and stomach. The result is smoother, firmer-looking skin, with improvements in texture, stretch marks and scarring that develop progressively over a course of sessions.

WHAT ARE BODY SKIN TREATMENTS

Understanding body skin treatments

Body skin treatments focus on areas where skin can start to look thin, crepey or uneven. That makes them one of the more targeted body treatments for skin quality beyond the face. Radiofrequency energy warms the deeper layers of the skin, helping it look firmer and smoother over time.

People come to us for body skin treatments in Melbourne for many reasons, from crepey skin on the chest to stretch marks after pregnancy. Results develop progressively, with many clients noticing smoother, firmer-looking skin within a few weeks.

Because body skin is thinner in some areas and thicker in others, we tailor the settings to each area. Our Hawthorn clinic is small by design, so every plan is built around you. Before every treatment, we carry out a skin assessment to confirm it suits your skin and goals.

HOW WE CAN HELP

What body skin treatments can help with

Body skin treatments can target a range of concerns. Results depend on your skin and the area being treated, but they are commonly used for the following concerns.

Crepey skin on the neck and chest

The neck and décolletage are often where sun and time show first, with skin starting to look thin or crepey. Radiofrequency can help this skin look smoother and feel firmer over a course of sessions.

Hands and forearms

Hands can show changes in texture and firmness as the skin thins over time. Treatment can help them look smoother and more even, so they keep pace with the care you give your face.

Stretch marks and scarring

Stretch marks on the stomach, along with surgical and other scars, can look softer and less noticeable over a course of sessions. Newer marks tend to respond more readily, and we will talk you through what to expect for yours.

Skin on the stomach

After pregnancy or weight changes, skin on the stomach can look looser or uneven in texture. Radiofrequency can help it look smoother and firmer, while body contouring adds targeted ultrasound to refine the look of stubborn areas beneath the skin.

The Process

What to expect

Every appointment follows the same structure, tailoring the settings to the area being treated. Here is what each visit looks like.

  1. Consultation and skin assessment

We begin by assessing each area and discussing your concerns, including any past treatments and how your skin usually heals. We then tailor the radiofrequency settings to the area and its needs.

  2. Skin preparation

We cleanse the treatment area and remove any residual product, preparing the skin for even coverage.

  3. Treatment

The handpiece moves slowly across the treatment area. Most clients describe a gentle warmth that builds as treatment goes on.

  4. Post-treatment care

The skin may look a little pink for a few hours once treatment is complete. Before you leave, we explain your aftercare and what to expect.

  5. Follow-up and review

Body skin treatments deliver their best results across a course of sessions. We check the progress of each area at every visit and refine the settings based on what we see.
